The MeshBox team is developing PoM, a distributed networking protocol for the Internet of Value and the underlying protocol for Web3 applications. Such technology can subvert a traditional, centralized model of deploying network infrastructure in emerging countries and accelerate digital transformation for these countries. To this end, MeshBox CEO Peter Yan, Advisor Henry Wang, and its ecosystem partner MetaLife team are in business negotiations with a US organization on an NFT community project that combines artwork and MeshBox products and is linked to network deployment in Africa. In the proposal, the MeshBox sidechain of Spectrum and Proof of Mesh mining would run on the deployed MeshBoxes. The plan not only helps to motivate the application and deployment of network services but also provides rewards to the associated NFT DAO participants and communities.
Software Development
- Compiled, deployed, and tested Bootnodes node on the Mesh side-chain;
- Developed and tested functions on node mortgage, binding, block generation, block generation suspension, blackout, and substitute block generation;
- Compiled gcc and golang cross-compilation environment on the third-party MeshBox device in order to prepare the development environment for third-party nodes to run PoM;
- Studied Mesh-related information on third-party MeshBox and prepared relevant materials for PoM;
- Researched Mesh-related implementation schemes based on ath11k.

- MeshBox will attend the “Global Web3 Ecological Innovation Summit” to be held in Singapore in mid-July, where SUSS and 8BTC are the co-organizers of the summit. The MeshBox team will join hands with ecosystem partners SmartMesh and MetaLife to demonstrate the MeshBox network in the exhibition area specially arranged for the Singapore Blockchain Living Lab at the summit. The demonstration allows more audiences to enter and understand the ecosystem and promotes the large-scale hardware deployment and application of the ecosystem to realize the “One World One Web” of Web3 in the near future.
