On 21st August 2019, MeshBox Foundation is pleased to announce the following personnel changes immediately:
The former CTO of MeshBox Foundation, Dr. Peter Yan has taken over the role of Chief Executive Officer. The former CEO and founder of MeshBox Foundation Mr. Yongquan Xiao will take the position of CSO (Chief Strategy Officer).
The new CEO of MeshBox Foundation, Dr. Peter Yan is a U.S. citizen and has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Washington University at St. Louis. He was a Senior Staff Engineer at America Wireless Access Labs of Huawei Technologies, a former Principle-Scientist at the Enterprise Switching Business-Unit of Broadcom, and a former Systems Architect at the Business Development and Strategy Group of Freescale Semiconductor.
At Erlang Technologies, he led the development of switch fabric chipsets for LG Electronics Broadband Remote Access Router (BRAS-40) which is deployed in Korean Telecom network equipment. At Huawei, he was the architect for the Network-On-Chip initiative for a Basestation SoC, which was successfully integrated into a chip design.
MeshBox has continued to develop in the past year and has expanded its market to Singapore, Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia. At the same time, due to management and global market expansion, Dr. Peter Yan will assume the position of CEO. The founder of MeshBox Foundation Yongquan Xiao will be the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and responsible for MeshBox’s global strategic planning, investment and expansion of the MeshBox ecosystem. Dr. Peter Yan has been involved in System-on-Chip, networking, and wireless related technology for more than 20 years and has done advance research on technologies such as system-on-chip, multi-core architectures, network on chip, real-time scheduling, distributed computing, and storage. As a Taiwanese American, Dr. Peter Yan has a deep understanding of the development of blockchain technology in European and American countries. He has traveled between China and the United States many times and actively participated in major blockchain events in many parts of the world. This change in role is in line with our long-term strategic plan, which will allow us to further integrate our resources and facilitate the promotion and development of MeshBox around the world. At the same time, Mr. Xiao Yongquan, one of the founders, will assume the role of CSO and continue to plan the current and future strategies for the MeshBox Foundation. The Foundation will continuously promote MeshBox and develop advanced applications on MeshBox!
