MeshBox Biweekly Report(2020.07.11-2020.07.24)

Here are the specifics for this period:

The SUSS-SmartMesh Workshop is the first large-scale event launched by the Living Lab in Singapore, co-founded by SmartMesh, MeshBox, and SUSS (Singapore University of Social Sciences) to popularize the blockchain. The workshop ended successfully last Friday. Now the Singapore Blockchain Competition has been officially launched.

MeshBox and SmartMesh Foundation expressed their heartfelt thanks to the SUSS school team comprising: Professor David Lee, Professor Lo Swee-Won and Professor Tan Chong Hui. As Professor Tan said in his speech at the closing ceremony of the workshop, “a great businessman sympathizes with and understands people’s pain points, releases the value of the best technology and contributes to society in the process of solving problems”. The SUSS-SmartMesh workshop in Singapore educates people as well as opens the door for SmartMesh and MeshBox to build an ecosystem. The following figure clearly outlines the global inclusive tokenized ecosystem that SUSS will build around the Singapore blockchain Lab.

MeshBox-Tesla FCC progress: The certification company is currently undergoing an audit to complete the certification in the next week.

The specific work is as follows:

  1. Investigated the distributed application requirements after MeshBox is deployed, including distributed CDN, distributed cloud storage, etc.

The specific work is as follows:

  1. Dr. Andy Wang, CTO of MeshBox IoT ecosystem partner GTI, attended the SUSS-SmartMesh workshop in Singapore and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Software-Defined IoT: Massively Scaling the Last-Mile”. The software-defined IoT architecture shared by Dr. Andy combines low-power AI products with MeshBox to make full use of edge storage and edge computing, facilitating the access and stable work of more general sensors and monitoring equipment, and solving the troubles of the Internet of Things – the issue of large-scale expansion of terminal KB-level memory devices.
  2. MeshBox CEO Peter Yan, Advisor Henry Wang, and Marketing Director Daniel Finn met with Eastern Blu Entertainment CEO, Mr Lim Tai Wah and discussed potential cooperation between the two companies. Mr. Lim learned that MeshBox can provide Mesh networking and distributed storage at the SUSS Singapore workshop. He contacted the MeshBox team through the SUSS school. The meeting was fruitful and they discussed the specific details of how MeshBox will handle the distributed caching operation of East Blu’s music streaming delivery plan in the near future. In particular, the file system, interface, and overall operations were discussed, and follow-up meetings were planned. For MeshBox, this is an application that can break into the field of music streaming. For Eastern Blu, this is an excellent opportunity to provide new decentralizatized and tokenized delivery of music streaming services.
  3. MeshBox CEO Peter Yan, Advisor Henry Wang and Marketing Director Daniel Finn held a Zoom meeting with Michael and Tomas, the principals of Leonardo in Poland. The meeting discussed Leonardo’s cooperation with a Polish bank in network and blockchain projects in multiple cities. Leonardo provided advice on the technical issues of issuing stable coins for the bank on Spectrum. The Dapp developed by the company will also be used in financial inclusion projects in the Philippines.
  4. On July 18th, MeshBox Advisor Henry Wang, MeshBox Business Development Director Jedi, and Chairman Liao, Deputy General Manager Lu, and Manager Bai of GTI conducted in-depth cooperation and communication in many aspects. This involves both business and industry sides. As for business, this includes the commercial Wi-Fi and the prepaid card business, the distributed storage business, vending machines and MeshBox, and the integration of Internet of Things and shops; the industrial side includes business production data on the chain, equipment operation and maintenance data on the chain, 5G and Wi-Fi mobile network deployment, local storage and local computing (data clarity and analysis), etc. The next step will focus on the commercial direction to further promote the foundation.
