MeshBox Biweekly Report (2021.04.03 -2021.04.16)

On April 15, the “paradigm shift: Global Disruptors Conference” hosted by Star Consulting, Star Finance, and co-sponsored by Chain Finance, Secret Network, Coin World and Fintech4Good was grandly held. “Paradigm Shift: Global Disruptors Conference” is a top-level exchange and sharing festival launched by Star Consulting for the global market. Professor David Kuochuen Lee, a director of MeshBox, and Mr. Yuehua Wang, a consultant of MeshBox, were invited to participate in the conference and gave a fireside dialogue and a special speech.

Last night, Mr. Henry Wang, a consultant of MeshBox, was invited by 36 Krypton to participate in the “Beijing Social Information CXO Enterprise Thought Meeting” event, which belongs to the series of activities of “36 Krypton Super Living Room + HUAWEI CLOUD Exclusive Month”. In the sharing session of the event, Mr. Henry Wang talked about the “past and present” of Web3.0. Henry first proposed Web3.0 in 2003, defined the exchange method of the Internet of Value as Token Switching in 2017, and contributed important concepts and development such as decentralized offline payment to the Internet of Value. At this conference, Henry defined Web4.0 and its exchange method Quantum Switching for the first time in public. These forward-looking concepts and thinking have opened up the minds of the participants and allowed them to benefit from a higher dimension.

The following is our recent specific work:

Software Development

  1. Tested the operation of Spectrum and Photon on the IPQ6108 platform, with good results for Photon.
  2. Porting the MeshBox Web interface to the IPQ6018 platform. Currently, the porting of the framework is completed.

Hardware Development

  1. Understanding the general architecture of SGX that combines decentralized storage and TEE.
  2. Understanding and becoming familiar with the functions of each component of the overall layered architecture of decentralized storage and computing.

  1. Preparing for the POC network of a rural bank in the Philippines and testing the local area network sharing scheme.
  2. Specifying the software and hardware requirements of the first version of the PCDN product prototype.

The specific work of marketing is as follows:

  1. On April 15, the “Paradigm Shift: Global Disruptors Conference” hosted by Star Consulting was held. “Paradigm Shift: Global Disruptors Conference” is a top-level exchange and sharing fest launched by Star Consulting for the global market. Professor David Kuochuen Lee, a director of MeshBox, and Mr. Yuehua Wang, a consultant of MeshBox, were invited to participate in the conference and gave a fireside dialogue and a special speech.

At this conference, experts, opinion leaders, entrepreneurs and leading projects from the fields of global finance, blockchain, digital assets, DeFi, NFT, and privacy computing will gather to explore the current global blockchain and digital asset fields in depth. The development trends, technological changes, and investment trends of the United States will jointly grasp the opportunities and challenges in the “paradigm shift.”

Professor Kuochuen Lee gave a special speech on “China and Singapore: Future and Cooperation in the NFT Field” in the fireside dialogue of the first session of the conference:

Professor Kuochuen Lee and Dr. Yuehua Wang are directors and angel investor advisors of SmartMesh and MeshBox respectively. They are also the holders of Genesis NFT, the creator of decentralized Internet of Value, and the founding members of the decentralized Internet of Value autonomous organization meshDAO. In their respective speeches, they mentioned the indispensable importance of MESH for building the Internet of Value. Southeast Asian countries have citizens with an average age of about 20 years, poor network coverage, strong willingness to go online, and are relatively friendly to crypto policies. Such countries are the ideal birthplace of the decentralized Internet of Value. They are expected to leapfrog traditional architectures and develop under the impetus of inclusive communications and inclusive finance. Such progress also stimulates and drives a similar  paradigm shift in China and the United States.

  1. MeshBox CEO Dr. Peter, a rural bank in the Philippines and a Philippine ecosystem partner are drafting a strategic cooperation agreement on the deployment of a Mesh network. The logistics of MeshBox-related equipment is also being prepared to ensure that Filipino technicians will depart from Manila to the rural bank for deployment in July. The deployment of the network will facilitate smoother deployment in similar environments such as Boracay in the future.

Although the current blockchain projects pay more attention to the construction of the underlying structure, there is no doubt that social applications will still be the killer application of blockchain technology. At present, the development of Web2.0 on behalf of Facebook and Twitter has repeatedly exposed the shortcomings of centralized Web2.0 websites, which stems from the weakness of the Internet of Information at the protocol layer. The deployment of the HyperMesh, composed of MeshBoxes, will build the Internet of Value in a decentralized manner, and will support the development of Web3.0 that focuses on protecting the privacy and the value of data attributable to individuals. The development of blockchain concepts and technologies such as NFT, DeFi, and DAO, and the combination of MeshBox’s decentralized storage, decentralized computing power and decentralized networking have made new Web3.0 applications possible. The meshDAO ecosystem is currently incubating the Web3.0 music DAO project, which aims to reconstruct the a new social paradigm since MySpace and Facebook.
