MeshBox Biweekly Report (2022.08.20–2022.09.04)

The CEO of MeshBox, Dr. Peter, along with its ecosystem partners Metalife’s Lisa and SmartMesh’s Soh Har, continued collaboration with Prof. Yousefi from the Mawoud School in Kabul, Afghanistan. The parties have created a channel on the Discord platform to sell NFTs in order to raise funds for the learning center.

The MetaLife community Discord channel “Forgotten Faces NFT” provides community members with a limited number of 12 Afghan faces (one per month since the withdrawal) that will be used to support the development of education in Afghanistan. The original artwork was created by a group of artists who support the Mawoud Learning Centre. Proceeds from sales collected from NFTs will be used to support Mawoud Learning Center students and businesses, including: purchasing food and healthcare; maintaining school buildings and teacher salaries; purchasing electronic devices for education (phones, tablets, computers); using MeshBoxes to deploy a Wi-Fi mesh for distance learning.

1. Tested and fixed bugs related to Mesh side chain PoM contracts;

2. Integrated the PoM contract function into the architecture for the Mesh side chain, including sending MESH rewards to the relevant nodes in the PoM contract for each epoch.

3. Improved the efficiency of SSB compilation and optimized the SSB debug method;

4. Further refined the use of SSB and eliminated redundant modules;

5. Adapted streaming data to Redux reducer;

6. Transplanted the ath10k patch of mac80211 to the MeshBox system to improve the security and wireless performance of the wireless part of the MeshBox;

7. Transplanted the new ath10k-ct firmware to the MeshBox system, with the stability of ath10-ct being verified.
