The Metaverse WorkShop, jointly organized by MeshBox and SmartMesh, its ecosystem partner, and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) will be held at the SUSS University from December 2021 through January 2022. The onsite network for the Workshop is provided by MeshBox Foundation.

MeshBox has held in-depth discussions with SmartMesh ecosystem project MetaLife and its Singapore IoT and satellite partners to jointly develop an offline payment solution for the maritime industry.  They will also explore bringing other cost effective network solutions to users living on islands and sparsely populated areas where Internet is underdeveloped. The aim is to solve challenges with internet surfing, social interaction, education and entertainment for the underserved.
