MeshBox Biweekly Report (2022.06.11–2022.06.24)

This week, MeshBox set out to test the mesh network for the Global Web3 Ecological Innovation Summit to be held in Singapore in the middle of July. The ecosystem project MetaLife Foundation will release the Web3.0 interstellar social network MetaLife at the Web3 Summit, which is the world’s first true Web3.0 mobile application. The MeshBox team will work with the MetaLife team to demonstrate the Web3 application scenario of social and offline payment through mesh networking with and without the internet.

MeshBox CEO Dr. Peter, SmartMesh VP Soh Har, and advisor Henry continue their discussions with the Flowers for Future (FFF) organization represented by Canyon Crest Academy’s award-winning teacher, Mr. Stiven, which has been supporting and providing STEM and student-to-student exchanges between those in San Diego and girls in a Kabul high school. Both parties will present a collection of collaborative NFTs through MetaLife at the Web3 Summit in Singapore. The Eileen Murphy Foundation a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in partnership with Flowers for Future Organization, is considering using MetaLife’s DAO Verse (DAO Universe) function to provide donations for developing countries to help local women’s education and purchase MeshBox to provide the required network services.

MeshBoxes will help improve internet access, so girls can participate in education at home when needed. Eileen Murphy Foundation, partnering with FFF, is considering promoting artwork related to Afghan girls as part of a fundraiser aimed at benefiting Afghan schools and the students it serves. NFTs in MetaLife and secured on SmartMesh Spectrum represent a possible way to channel funds to underserved populations in Afghanistan and internationally.

The two parties are also discussing working together to support decentralized educational applications, such as Kolibri on MeshBoxes. This model in Afghanistan can also be extended to the Hero Women Rising schools in eastern DRC, where children are desperately seeking support to meet their basic needs and education.  A similar model can be scaled for other areas, such as Southeast Asia and South America.
