MeshBox Biweekly Report (2022.02.05–2022.02.18)

MeshBox CEO Peter and its advisor Henry held a business meeting with representatives of a Brunei company to explore deploying MeshBoxes and running SmartMesh and MetaLife applications in their country.  Due to its geographical environment, Internet service in Brunei is unstable and the entire island of Borneo has an urgent need for stable and high-speed network services.

In addition, according to reliable sources, Indonesia will move its capital from Jakarta to Kalimantan province on Borneo Island by 2027.  By then, the local demand for quality network services will become essential and critical.  MeshBox and its business partner hold a very positive and optimistic outlook towards the future development and great business cooperation.  To this end, the parties will proceed with signing an NDA and further the in-depth discussion on business cooperation plans.

Software

  1. Complete encapsulation of BLE peripheral mode – completed IOS and Android multi-terminal call in React Native.
  2. BLE communication – completed both-ways communication on Android and IOS devices without internet.
  1. Designed PoM chain software module, including MeshBox++ device, gateway, proxy, miner, blockchain, wallet, explore, console, cli, etc.
  2. Planning for console and proxy modules of PoM side chain. The proxy module is responsible for interaction of off-chain modules with the chain.
  3. PoM side chain gateway module planning, which is a service running on the wifi gateway.
  4. Explored LoraWAN PoC and miner implementation mechanism 
  5. Studied code on LoraWAN PacketForward and analyzed data forwarding process of LoraWAN GateWay.

Hardware

Assisted in decision-making on PoM development and analyzed whether third-party hardware meets PoM requirements.

  1. Analyzed token model, incentive distribution, products and key technologies of new IoT projects.
  2. Participated in discussions on PoM, MeshBox registration process, other functions and implementation solutions.

  1. Discussed firmware support with third-party smart hardware partner. According to design, PoM can run on the MeshBox hardware provided by the third-party. Continued communicating with partner to determine modules to be jointly developed by both parties to unify requirements as much as possible.
  2. MeshBox marketing team is communicating with MetaLife team on marketing campaigns for the ecosystem. International marketing communications for SmartMesh, MeshBox and MetaLife will begin next week.
